The Ivory Vimar 3 Module IP55 Enclosure /cover for 3 Vimar Idea modules and 3 x 8000 special modules. Provided with 3 adapters 08491 for 8000 standard module. The IP55 protection degree is guaranteed with installation on waterproof smooth walls without grooves and IPX2 with open cover

The surface boxes of the IP55 series extend the utilization possibilities of the Idea, 8000 and Linea series in locations where IP55 protection degree is required (i.e. industrial and agricultural environments, building sites, harbours, sport installations, gardens, camping sites).

They furthermore permit to realize electrical installations in locations where explosions or fires are liable to occur, according to standard EN 60079 and CEI 64-2.

• IP55 protection degree in compliance with Standards EN 60529 (CEI 70-1)
• granted at following installation and operating conditions:
  • with cover mounted on ordinary flush mounting boxes on waterproof smooth walls without grooves, with closed cover
  • 3-module mounted on flush mounting box 13731.S on any wall, with closed cover
• resistance to abnormal heat and to fire (Glow Wire test): 650 °C
• resistance to ageing, according to Italian Standard CEI 23-48: 7 days at 70 °C
• resistance to heat: ball-pressure test, according to Italian Standard CEI 23-48: 70 °C
